The Aruba Athletic Federation proudly celebrates a historic achievement at the AAF Kickoff Classic!

Yesterday, January 22nd, Emma Gobert of Sportsz4U Triathlon Academy delivered a sensational performance in the women’s 1500m, stopping the clock at 5:07.76; officially setting a new Aruban national record!

This outstanding run surpasses the previous national record of 5:07.81, set on April 16, 2022, in Kingston by Vera-Elise Backmeyer.

Emma’s relentless dedication, hard work and passion for the sport continue to raise the standard of athletics in Aruba. Her achievement is a true inspiration to the entire track and field community.
