Proud Moment for Team Aruba at NACAC Bahamas Championships

August 16, 2025
Our CARIFTA Games Gold Medalist 🥇 Wyndel Beyde represented Aruba at the NACAC Championships 2025 in Freeport, Bahamas and delivered an outstanding performance.
As the youngest athlete in the pack, Wyndel bravely lined up against strong competitors from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bermuda, San Salvador, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada and more.
Despite the stifling humidity from Hurricane Erin and not feeling his sharpest today, he still managed to do it. He ran the 1500m in a blazing 4:01.66, improving from his previous best of 4:05.08 set at the CARIFTA Games earlier this year & his previous best of 4:02.86 set in july 2025 at Challenger de Clubs race in Cali, Colombia.
This new Personal Record (PR) is a true testament to his hard work, determination, and the bright future ahead. The Aruba Athletic Federation & Aruba is incredibly proud of you, Wyndel 👏💯.
Keep chasing greatness and inspiring the next generation of Aruban athletes. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come
