Today marked a special milestone as the Comité Olímpico Arubano (COA) hosted their final ALV (Algemene Ledenvergadering) for 2025. During the meeting, all 24 federations came together to receive insightful updates and reflect on the growth and development achieved over the past months.

Over the past 11 weeks, every federation participated in five intensive workshops as part of the Capacity Building Training – Phase 2 program. These sessions were designed to strengthen organizational management, improve strategic planning and provide practical tools to help further professionalize sports on the island. The knowledge gained has been invaluable and will undoubtedly contribute to stronger, more sustainable federations.

The program concluded with each federation developing and submitting a Strategic Plan, applying the concepts learned throughout the workshops. 📘✨

We are extremely proud that the Aruba Athletic Federation, Aruba Aquatics Federation and Aruba Triathlon Association were selected as the top three finalists. Today, each finalist proudly presented their Strategic Plan 2026–2028, showcasing their vision, goals and roadmap for the coming years.

We are thrilled to announce that we tied for 1st place with the Aruba Aquatics Federation, with both federations receiving the top recognition and prize! 🏆🤝 This achievement reflects the dedication of our team and our ongoing commitment to developing and elevating sports in Aruba.

A heartfelt thank you to COA for providing these opportunities for growth and leadership development. The knowledge and skills gained will continue to guide our board and strengthen our projects moving forward.
