Yesterday, the AAF Daily Board held a constructive and productive meeting with Aruba’s Minister of Education, Youth, Innovation, Kingdom Relations & Sports, Mrs. Gerlien Croes.

The conversation focused on the ongoing renovation of the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium and addressed several concerns, especially regarding what’s still needed for athletics. A number of critical items remain unresolved, with the timing system highlighted as a top priority for AAF.

Tomorrow, a joint group meeting will take place between AVB, AAF, and the Ministry to explore practical ways to move the project forward.

As of today, there is still no confirmed date for when AAF members can begin training on the stadium’s running track. We will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
