Our 1500m National record holder, Asher Patel representing TeamARU, is ready for his race taking place today 5:30 pm local time, at the athletics track located at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee’s “Parque Olímpico.”
This newly renovated track is set to host 30 of the strongest athletes from across our continent as they battle it out in the 1500m.

Today, at the athletics track of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, the men’s 1500m event took place. TeamARU’s Asher Patel proudly represented Aruba, accompanied by his coach Kayla Evans.
Asher delivered an impressive race, showing determination and consistency against a strong field of competitors. He crossed the finish line with a time of 3:54.68, earning 11th place overall.
This performance highlights both his growing potential and the dedication of Team Aruba in regional and international competitions. Congratulations to Asher and Coach Evans for their hard work and representation on the track.
