Yesterday, the Board of the Aruba Athletics Federation (AAF) held an extraordinary meeting with its members representing 11 clubs to share exciting news.

After more than two and a half years, our athletes can finally return to Stadion GPT, thanks to the Minister of Sports, Mrs. Mr. Gerlien Croes 🙌. Starting Wednesday, 20th of August, AAF club members & athletes will once again train on the track.

While there are still some final details to complete before the full renovation is finished, the track is now ready for use marking a long-awaited milestone for our athletics community.

The AAF assures it will continue working closely with the government to finalize the remaining aspects of the athletics facilities, so we can soon enjoy a fully operational athletics stadium for all. 🏟️✨
