CARIFTA 2025 RECAP – HISTORY MADE: TEAM ARUBA LIGHTS UP CARIFTA 2025!
As the CARIFTA Games 2025 come to a close, we look back with pride at what has truly been a historic year for Team Aruba.
Aruba took the spotlight at the 52nd CARIFTA Games 2025 in Trinidad & Tobago
10th Place Overall | 3 MEDALS | 1 GOLD | 2 SILVER | 1 NEW National Record!
Our young athletes put their hearts on the track and made the island proud!
Wyndel Beyde – Made history by winning Aruba’s FIRST-EVER GOLD in the U20 5000m with a blazing PB of 15:58.94!
Also ran the 1500m, finishing 5th overall with another PB of 4:05.08.
Christiaan Jansen – From triathlon to track, Christiaan stormed into his debut with a SILVER in the U20 5000m, clocking a PB of 15:59.99
Asher Patel – Snagged SILVER in the U20 1500m with a time of 3:59.61.
He also set a NEW NATIONAL RECORD in the 800m semi-finals with a PB of 1:55.27, and placed 9th in the finals.
Eden Antersyn – Debuted in the U17 800m finishing his race in 6th place in heat 2 pre-liminaries and 12th overall with a time of 2:05.92 showing heart and serious promise. A rising star to watch in 2026!
These warriors wore the Aruban colors with unmatched pride, passion, and perseverance. Their performance wasn’t just competition — it was history in motion.
