Today, Day 2 of the Aru Athletics Festival was absolutely fantastic! The energy, performances and support once again made it a great evening of athletics.

We were honored to receive a visit from Minister Gerlien L. Croes, LL.M., Minister of Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation & Sports, whose presence added even more significance to the event.

Today’s schedule featured exciting long jump competitions and thrilling speed events, keeping the crowd engaged throughout the evening. Athletes of all ages delivered impressive performances, showcasing determination, strength,and true sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of you all.

A special shout-out to Team Curaçao 🇨🇼 for their fantastic performances. It’s great having you here and being part of this wonderful competition.

Tomorrow is the final day! The javelin will take place at Tropical Storm Field, Salina Serca, Noord, while our youngest athletes will be in action, along with the high jump at the GPT Stadium.
