Team Aruba Ready for CARIFTA Games 2026 in Grenada
Aruba is gearing up for the 53rd CARIFTA Games, with three talented athletes ready to represent the island in St. George’s, Grenada, from April 4–6, 2026.
Returning to the regional stage are 2025 gold medalist Wyndel Beyde and silver medalist Christiaan Jansen, both determined to build on their impressive performances from last year. Their success has already placed Aruba proudly on the CARIFTA podium and expectations are high as they prepare to compete once again.
Joining the team this year is Emma Gobert, who will make her CARIFTA debut in athletics. As one of Aruba’s promising young athletes, Gobert will experience the Caribbean’s premier junior athletics championship for the first time.
The CARIFTA Games, one of the most important events for junior athletes in the Caribbean, will once again be hosted in Grenada, also known as the Spice Isle. The competition will take place at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium, bringing together the region’s top young talents under the theme “Passion Drives Performance.”
With determination, talent and national pride, Team Aruba is ready to compete and represent the island on the Caribbean stage.
